My Portfolio
With the exception of things like worksheets and quizzes, this is my body of work from Fall 2024. The first bit is work from my Media Skills course, the course with the most extensive body of projects. Then, it is my Audio Drama Club production, my first voice acting credit. Then, it is material from my Communications Design class. Then, my Public Relations course. And then a little self-plug for my book since that was my other major project this semester that got a little neglected due to its release being less than a week before Hurricane Helene, which hit my area pretty hard (not as hard as others, though, for which I am very grateful).
These are the videos I did for my fall Media 200 class. This was the first time I have played around with video this thoroughly. The first stars my sister, Casey, in a silent film designed to film one continuous motion in 30 seconds from five different shot angles. The second was a continuity video designed to tell a story opposed to just an action. I starred in and filmed it, telling the short story of someone receiving and opening a care package. The last video was designed to use transitions opposed to continuity. I also starred in and filmed this one, telling the story of someone getting ready for class or an event.
This was my first sound project, so it isn't quite perfect. Then, due to time restrictions on the assignment, I had to cut out part of the story. But overall, I am proud of it.
This is my proposed advertising campaign for the Lander University Film Festival in March (fully hypothetical). This was technically a group project, but other than our fake company name and the brochures idea, all of it was my idea and PowerPoint design. I presented it to my class.
This is a link to my Audio Drama Club project for this semester. I only did voice acting, none of the production or SFX. This project was so fun and the first thing I did like this on this scale.
This is a PSA I made for my Communications Design class on an issue that was important to us. I chose gay rights and LGBTQIA+ teen suicide rates. One life is too many.

Describe your image

This is my before and after for a photo editing assignment for Communications Design. I made the photo of Bailey more dramatic, cropped out the patio and made the water more uniform on the picture of Andrew, made the photo of the deer look more realistic and cropped it to focus on the deer, and I changed a lot on the Carowinds picture, most notably getting rid of the ugly grate in the water.
This is the self-infographic I made for Communications Design.

This is the interactive PowerPoint assignment I was given for Communication Design. I was supposed to make it about my passion. I learned a lot with this and am very proud of it.
This was my final for Communications Design. I drew all the pictures by hand, scanned them, and traced them into the computer. It is an original picture book that took over 30 hours to complete.

The last major project for me this semester was my book release. "Lacerated, Chaotic Mind" was released through Barnes & Nobles on September 20, 2024. I am so grateful for everyone that had a hand in publishing it and had a hand in this project.
